Sunday’s potluck filled us with good food and David filled us with food for thought like: it is not so much the courage to finish the race as the courage to start that gets things done. God will bless out efforts. The children read the children’s story to the adults for a change and Patsy shared a story of the miracles that happened when her grandson was in a car accident in Phoenix. The first miracle was that a nurse was in a car following her grandson and stopped to give CPR until the ambulance came. When he got to the hospital, the neuro surgeon just happened to be there and was able operate right away. While her grandson lost part of his brain and some memory, he has recovered miraculously.
