This Sunday we heard a miracle worthy of Richard Thomas’s “It’s A Miracle” TV series. The miracle of Bill surviving spinal meningitis, sepsis of the blood, pneumonia, and liver problems all at the same time and while on treatments for a brain tumor doesn’t end with Bill’s recovery. This week, at a birthday party his son attended, Bill was sharing his recovery with another parent when the parent extended his hand and said he was the local doctor who had treated him before he was transferred to Phoenix. The doctor was really happy to see Bill. He hadn’t known that Bill had survived.
Bill challenged us to look for the miracles in our trials. He also encouraged us to not feel sorry for ourselves when life happens because no matter what happens to us it is not as bad as what happened to Jesus.
