This Sunday our congregation looked at the theme “Bear Fruit”. The children participated in children’s ministry where they looked at Matthew 7:17, matched fruit from a basket to pictures of fruit trees and finally were allowed to choose a piece of fruit to eat. The offertory focused on being a moon and reflecting the light of the Son.
The morning message took us further to the seed of the fruit and how we are to be planting seeds. Dick Hanson told how his neighbor, a police officer, stopped a car for a broken tail light and the driver offered him a book of prayers which brought him much comfort in a time of need.
Then we all went out to eat and enjoy good fellowship.
